Mood depressed

she lies alone.
The quiet is all too deafening. It's all there is.
To one side of her the phone. Talk.
To the other. The computer, chat.
Neither is comforting.

"It doesn't matter" she thinks.
Nothing matters.
Nothing ever will.

Near her, all around her, is the faint scent of despair.
she looks for something to hold onto.
There’s nothing.
Nothing.
Nothing except the silence, the quiet.

"I should get up." she thinks.
"What’s the point?" is what follows.
Her hands tremble.
she wants to cry, but she can't.
It's almost as if she's immune to the situation.

"Stiff upper lip," she thinks "Stiff upper lip"
It doesn't help
Nothing seems to help.

she searches for something more to hold onto. Anything.
All she finds are her thoughts.
They're no help.
All they seem to do is betray her.
As if someone has opened the floodgates,
Millions of gallons of thoughts come rushing into her mind.
she struggles to stay afloat.
she looks for his planking, something to help her stay afloat.

Dreams.
she finds dreams, and holds on to them.
she won't let go. she won't ever let go.

she lies alone.
The quiet is all to deafening. It's all there is.
To one side of her the phone. Talk.
To the other. The computer, chat.
Neither is comforting…

Mood depressed

Mommy, please dont cry
he said he loved me that is why
thought that I was all grown up
mommy, this is not your fault

Mommy, daddy please don't cry
this is my fault and I know why
I said for him to drive me home
even though I didn't know

he had drank a whole six pack
but I still wanted to go back
when we drove into that wall
I didn't think that we would fall

Even I realized that we were off that bridge
I knew we were at risk
when I saw the flashing lights
I started to feel a fright

As I watched the car fill up
I was sure that I would never wake up
now I am here and fully awake
yet mommy and daddy are still crying

Mommy, daddy please don't cry
this is not your fault
I just wanted to have a good time
I am the one at fault

(mom) Baby girl, you're not to blame
the party had just gotten lame
you just wanted to get home
and probably talk on the phone

(dad) Baby girl, please don't cry
but Jimmy was sure to die
the doctors did all they could
to keep Jimmy from passing away.

Mommy, daddy hold me tight
and tell Jimmy's parents that it will be alright
tell them that he is gone to heaven
and tell them that I didn't mean it

Mood depressed 3

the goodbye I have dreaded
I couldn't believe it, it couldn't come true
the only thing I ever had wanted, it was special,
it was you.

every day is a goodbye
goodbyes to the mornings waking up knowing we would meet again, goodbye to my smiles, goodbye to my friend.

I now know pain to its full extent
every tear cried, every dream bent.

growing up with you by my side, how am I to grow now when you're not by me, you said you would be with me forever, you lied.

I'm so saddend, so torn
I'm the only rose with no petals
but a thorn.

it feels like its been forever
I just can't lie
its been just like a forever in a
goodbye.

Mood depressed

If I should jump
Would you care
Would you even notice
If I wasn't there

If I should shoot
Would you mourn
Would you remember me
After I'm gone

If I should hang
Would you come
Would you grieve above me
When my life is done

If Death should appear
At my bedside tonight
Would you cry
If I gave up my life

When I have passed
What memory would you save
After I have lost
The life that I gave

I wish I could
But can no longer try
So with a sad and dying heart
I say to you goodbye
